Wi-Fi Site Survey for Tampa Bay Businesses

Network

Slow Wi-Fi isn't always fixed by buying a better router. Often the problem is placement, interference, or building materials — and a site survey finds the real issue.

A wireless site survey measures:

- Signal strength throughout the office

- Dead zones where devices can't connect

- Interference from neighboring networks, microwaves, or other equipment

- Channel congestion on 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands

- Access point placement recommendations

Concrete walls, metal shelving, and glass all degrade Wi-Fi signals. An access point in a closet will never cover a conference room effectively.

Before adding more access points (which can make interference worse), get a survey. It tells you where coverage actually fails and how to fix it without wasting money on gear you don't need.
