MFA / Two-Factor Authentication
What is MFA / Two-Factor Authentication?
Logging in with your password plus a second proof of identity — a code from your phone, an authenticator app, a hardware key, or an app approval. Even if someone steals your password, they still can't get in without that second factor.
Why MFA / Two-Factor Authentication Matters
It's the single most effective thing you can turn on. A stolen password alone stops being enough for attackers, which is why MFA blocks the vast majority of account takeover attempts.
