SSID
What is SSID?
The SSID (Service Set Identifier) is the name of your Wi-Fi network — the list you pick from when joining a wireless network. Each network broadcasts its SSID so devices can find and connect to it.
Why SSID Matters
Separating guest and staff networks on different SSIDs keeps visitors off your file shares and internal systems. Simple setup, meaningful security — guests get internet only, staff get full access.
