Conditional Access
What is Conditional Access?
Rules that check context before granting access — like requiring MFA for unknown locations, blocking downloads on unmanaged devices, or limiting access to business hours.
Why Conditional Access Matters
Instead of a simple yes/no at login, Conditional Access asks: Is this a trusted device? A normal location? A reasonable time? If not, it blocks or challenges the login.
