Patching
What is Patching?
Installing the small updates released by software makers to fix bugs, close security holes, and improve stability. Patches apply to operating systems, applications, browser plugins, and firmware — everything that runs on your devices.
Why Patching Matters
Unpatched software is how most break-ins happen. Attackers scan for known vulnerabilities and exploit them within days of a patch being released. Automated patch management closes that door without anyone thinking about it.
